From 7pm - 10pm: Mix and mingle with the host authors and many of the guest authors while enjoying complimentary custom-made desserts, coffee, and tea. Cash bar will also be available. Each Sweet Mardi Gras ticket holder will also receive a complimentary goody bag with books and swag. There will also be a few special cash giveaways for this event in lieu of a live band.

Want to investigate New Orleans’ criminal underbelly with Rachel Caine and Kelley Armstrong? Or get a locals’ look at the Garden District with Jeaniene Frost and Jaye Wells? Or discover the city’s rich Jewish history with Melissa Marr?

Nola StoryCon participants have the unique opportunity to explore the Crescent City’s culture with their favorite authors as tour tickets go on sale at noon today! Nola StoryCon is an author-led reader event featuring forty guest authors, including Charlaine Harris, Christine Feehan, Keira Cass and Kevin Hearne, just to name a few. The weekend conference, held September 15-17, 2017 at the JW Marriot in New Orleans, is hosted by Kelley Armstrong, Melissa Marr and Jeaniene Frost.

The walking tours are led by local experts, covering topics such as jazz, ghost stories, architecture, local Jewish culture, cemeteries, female trailblazers and infamous New Orleans crimes. Each tour is hosted by one or more authors, who experience the city along with readers. Tours are 90 minutes to two hours. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes.
